We kicked things off with a fantastic visit from Karen at the Mid Ulster Council, who taught us all about recycling. We learned what goes into each coloured bin and how to help take care of our planet. 🌍💚
Then Ronan from Fit minds came to see us, and we had a brilliant time catching balls, sorting them, and keeping our minds super active. There were lots of giggles and fast hands! 🤩🏐
And guess what? Our Mary’s Meals jar is completely full! We’ve collected so much change to help children in Africa that we’ve already started filling a second jar. Amazing kindness from P1! 💙✨
In Numeracy, we’ve been learning all about pairs—and even finding pairs on our own bodies. Two eyes, two ears, two hands… so many to discover! 👀👂✌️
Our Space topic has been out of this world! 🌌 We used all sorts of paints and techniques to make our very own planets, each one more colourful than the last.
To finish our busy week, we brought out the Bee-Bots! The children learned how to make them move forward, and our classroom was buzzing with excitement. 🐝🤖
