This week the children have been working very hard with their parents at home creating their own, wooden spoon characters.
The wooden spoon characters focused on the children’s favourite Nursery Rhyme.
Today, Mr McCormack and Mrs Donnelly were delighted to visit the Nursery to sing Nursery Rhymes and enjoy a short ‘show and tell’ with the children. They were so impressed with the amazing work that they even left a small treat for the classes.
This was a lovely link with our families and an example of how we are enjoying the ‘Getting Ready to Learn’ Programme. 🌟
