Literacy Learning in P2A

This week in Literacy, our pupils have been busy exploring the tricky words and building CVC words using our focus sounds for the week. Through fun, hands-on activities, the pupils have been developing important early reading and language skills.

We also took our learning outdoors for a Sound Hunt! The children enjoyed searching for objects and words in the environment, then working together to sort them by their initial letter sound. This playful activity helped them tune into the sounds all around us while practising their listening, speaking, and teamwork skills. It’s wonderful to see such enthusiasm and a curiosity as our pupils continue to grow as confident learners.
