Primary 7 pupils have been working hard to craft Autumn poems filled with vivid images and playful language. They experimented with alliteration and added onomatopoeia to echo the whirl of the wind and the crunch of leaves. Through personification, they described branches, weather and autumnal activities. Some pupils decided to use rhyme in their poetry to help bring their ideas together. They then headed to the ICT Suite to type up their poems and choose appropriate images to accompany them.
