P2A enjoyed a wonderful autumn walk to Polepatrick to explore the changes happening all around us children. The pupils were excited to spot the many signs of autumn, from colourful leaves and shiny conkers to rustling trees and fallen acorns.
As we walked, we talked about what we could see, hear and feel. This helped pupils to develop their observation and language skills while deepening their understanding of the world around them. Everyone loved collecting natural materials and sharing their discoveries with each other. It was a lovely opportunity to connect classroom learning with real-life experiences.
