Catholic Schools Week
This week our school was full of happiness as we celebrated Catholic Schools Week! The children had a wonderful time listening to Bible stories, singing joyful songs, visiting the Chapel, and coming together for Mass. Each day helped us remember that God is with us in our everyday school lives.
Next week, we are excited to continue our celebrations with our Catholic Schools Assembly and Grandparents’ Day Mass, where we will welcome our grandparents and families into our school.
Archbishop Eamon tells us that Catholic schools are like stars in the sky – ordinary and familiar, but able to shine brightly, especially in dark times. This links beautifully with this year’s theme: “Normal people, called to holiness in everyday life, doing everyday things.” It reminds the children that they can be holy by being kind, saying their prayers, helping others, and doing their best each day.
Throughout the week, the children showed us how brightly they can shine. Their smiles, singing, prayers, and enthusiasm filled our school with joy. Every child in our school is special, and each one can be a shining star.
Please enjoy watching Archbishop Eamon’s message in the video below and looking through the photos of the children celebrating such a joyful and faith-filled week ⭐✨
