P1A have all settled brilliantly into the longer day. The longer day means our daily timetable gets busier with lots of fun activities and learning opportunities!
We enjoyed our first visit from Ronan and his helper on Tuesday for the P1 High 5 Healthy Bodies and Mind programme.
For Outdoor play we went outside to work on our gross motor movements and balancing skills.
During Literacy and World Around Us tasks we have been combining Little Bo Peep with marking making horizontal lines and manipulative tasks. We tried so many ways to help Little Bo Peep find her sheep!
In Numeracy we have been studying patterns, sorting material and working on numbers up to 5.
We have started to talk more about Autumn in class and have included some paint activities in Play Based Learning. Look out for more exciting Autumn activities coming soon.
