Dear Parents,
We hope that everyone is well settled into the new term. We would like to remind everyone about the importance of wearing school uniform each day.
Curriculum Content:

They will also be introduced to remainders and will use the bridge sign to lay out their work. Pupils will work on the topic of time. Pupils will learn to recognise times on analogue and digital clocks. They will calculate durations of time in hours and minutes. They will also be interpreting timetables during problem solving.
Language and Literacy – Pupils will continue to develop their language and literacy skills through a whole class experience and within groups. Written work will be related to the “Willow Pattern” story. Pupils will also get the opportunity to produce a play-script. Pupils will continue to complete written activities relating to their class novel – Danny the Champion of the World by Roald Dahl.
The World Around Us – The theme for this term is ‘Making a Mark’. Pupils will research and investigate how the first farmers made their mark on farming. Pupils will visit The Bridewell, an important local landmark, and will carry out their own research as a follow up.
