Holy Family Primary School provides an extensive programme
of extra curricular activities throughout the whole school
year.
The school is very fortunate to have a magnificent school
choir, which adds an extra dimension to so many occasions
within the life of the school. The choir regularly competes
very successfully in a range of public competitions as well
as performing at many community events. The school also
offers guitar and violin tuition, Sport also plays a very
important part in the holistic development of our children.
We are an active, health promoting school pursuing sport
for a healthy lifestyle as well as for competition. The
school offers:

• Yoga • Athletics • Cross Country •
Netball • Camogie • Swimming
Our extensive range of extra curricular activities is also
supported by the after school Youth Sport Programme, delivered
by professional coaches.
We offer a number of opportunities to promote drama and
musical awareness. Firstly through visits from professional
theatre companies and drama workshops. Our Halloween Fun
Festival also focuses on storytelling, drama and creative
music. Our Christmas productions provide an excellent opportunity
for our children to develop their thespian skills as they
take to the stage with highly acclaimed productions.

Basketball Sessions 
Mr Moran will be starting basketball sessions after school on Thursdays from 3.00 pm to 4.00 pm commencing on Thursday 9th October for Primary 6 pupils. All interested pupils should present themselves in Holy Family sports gear wearing indoor trainers. - This should be fun and ... its free!!!
Yoga Classes 
Yoga classes will commence very soon for all
primary 7 pupils. This is a very positive activity which
is designed to enhance listening and concentration skills
all within a very relaxed environment. The sessions will
commence on Thursday 18th September and run every week for
7 weeks. A contribution of 50p per child per week will be
required to cover some of the costs.
All children will require either a yoga mat
or a towel to lie on when on the assembly hall floor
