The Curriculum has been evolving rapidly over the last few years and Holy Family Primary School has been at the forefront of this evolving process. Increasingly, the main areas of focus within the revised curriculum have been skills, personal capabilities and learning rather than teaching. We are very committed to unlocking and developing every child to help them realise their full potential.

With this in mind, teachers plan their work collaboratively. They discuss and negotiate clear learning intentions with the children and together they map out realistic success criteria for the learning.

This helps to ensure that our children develop a range of skills for later life. Thus they will evolve to be literate, numerate, ICT capable, problem solvers, able to manage information, able to work with others, creative independent learners.

At Holy Family Primary School we are very committed to the revised curriculum. We believe our children are developing as individuals, as future contributors to society and the world around us. All this of course, is delivered within a Christian caring environment.
